Emotions

Well, I wrote this a few weeks ago, but I was a bit too emotional to share it with the world. So here it is, I think that it is pretty good....

Why?

Why the betrayal?
Why the deceit?
You couldn't wait
You couldn't forgive
You hardened your heart
then you broke mine
she was wrong
but so were you
but its always her
you give the blame to
you turned your back
now you'll never come home
your beautiful heart
you turned to stone
what do I do now?
how do I forgive?
full of bitterness and distrust
is no way to live
I will git through this
you wait and see
I'll pray to my God
He's always there for me
I cant forgive you
but I know I will
I will turn this mountain
into a hill
the cut is deep
it will take time to heal
but if I trust my God
I know it will
I refuse to let this win
I wont back down
I still love you
that love is sound
how can I see through this pain
through the hurt
and through the shame
God my God
remove the dust
I cannot see
In You I trust
in time forgiveness will come
until then
to God I run
You are there
oh God I know
through the ash
and through the snow
I will trust in You of God
and keep my eyes on thee
and pray that in time
there will be peace in me.
