I have been thinking this morning, and the more I think about it the more the reality hits me that Jesus Christ really is the only option to be the center of everything. I
have a blog where I talk about being a Lady, and I have realized that it is almost impossible to really understand the role of a lady apart form the love of Christ, because being a lady is about seeing other people as more important than yourself, but the only real way to do that is if you are secure in the Love of Jesus. We have to be rooted and grounded in love or else all that we do will come to nothing. You have heard the fruits of the Spirit, Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control, notice that the first is love? All of the others cannot cannot grow unless they are rooted in love.
This is the whole point! Jesus is the point, His love, His sacrifice, His victory, Him and Him alone. There is a reason that He is worthy to open the scroll, and that is because it is all about Him. The epitome of the universe, He is everything. Without Jesus everything falls apart, the point of history is the Cross, and the climax of history will be His wedding to the Church. There is nothing outside of him (eg of history, B.C. and A. D. ?) There is nothing outside of it, except destruction and death. We were dying in our sins, and He saved us! I am just kind of worked up about it, but the fact is that Christ is my life, and there is no other way to live!
If you want adventure, wisdome, love, hope, extrordinary, peace, fulfillment, joy, blessing, anything good or noble of righteous, this is where those things were created, and I promise you that these are the origionals, not the cheap knockoffs of the world today. "Come to the well and drink" "I will give you living water" "Victory is mine, says the Lord" "The Lord will fight for you." Those statements are not empty, but they are life, life offored to us in Him, in His word, go to a church and grab a Bible and buckle in for the most extrordinary, beautiful historical book ever writen, for its author has no beginning or end, but is the sovreign Lord of the universe.
