I do not understand how anyone could ever read the Bible and say that God is not a God of passion. If you just read what it actually says, you will see that God has only ever wanted one thing, and that is to have fellowship with His children. The entire point of the Bible is to show how good and just and loving and passionate God is. Every story is about how He came through for His people. Why must we always try and find something negative about Him? The truth is, He is the only one who is in fact innocent.
