Today is April 1st, which as you all undoubtedly know is April Fools day. I decided to find out the origin of April Fools, and come to find out it was started because "those crazy foolish people who call themselves disciples of Christ think that He rose form the grave!" and because it was said that they had taken the body and tricked everyone into thinking that He was alive, people played tricks on each other in order to make fun of them.
This, I thought was very interesting, and you could have a lot of fun with it. One thing that I thought (though I may be too much of a coward to do it at the moment) is to celebrate this day by doing something foolish for Christ. It is a good excuse to get yourself out there, to obey Him even if it seems odd to other people. What if we celebrated Easter and the "foolishness" as the world calls it of Christ himself to die for ultimate victory, and the 'foolishness' of His followers to believe and know without a shadow of a doubt that HE IS RISEN. Can we, like Jesus, obey God at any cost and do something that makes no since to anyone else? This is also a challenge for me, so don't think that I am just trying to get you to do something that I wont, but lets come together, and "become even more undignified than this!"
Happy Easter!
